Railing goes straight problem.

Hello, as you can see in the screenshot, the railing runs straight from the beginning to the end of the staircase. Normally I didn't experience such a thing and the railing would break on the landings and then continue again. I changed a few settings but couldn't fix it. What could be the cause of the problem? I would be glad if you help.

First thing to check :

  1. Edit the rail path
  2. Select the sketch line of the path
  3. check and make sure the Slope is set to By Host

Alternatively upload your file to lessen the guesses and someone or me might cast you some video or something to clarify what was wrong and how to fix it

Also verify that the sketch line has breaks in it at all edges of the landings. If it is one continuous line then it doesn't know when to go flat.

Hi, I did what you said but still nothing changed. I'm uploading the file of the project. I created a 3D view namedRailing Problem. I would appreciate it if you could find the railing there and help me. Thanks for your time.

When I open the file and the railing with ID 1238427 is a single sketch line extending the entire length of the stair. This line will need to be split at the middle landing for Revit to know to make the railing flat at those portions. Once it is split the railing goes flat at the landing.
