Railing for a stair - Change the placement of the bottom

Hi fellas!

Does anyone know how to change the railing according to the picture below? This is driving me nuts.
Unfortunately in Revit 2016 (old project), I heard that railings have been improved in 2018.

Thanks in advance!

I haven't used 2016 in two years, but I believe offsetting rails is part of the parameters still? If it is, offset your posts/balusters from bottom to the distance you want. Hope this helps!

Thanks, but I only want part of the stair to offset upwards, at the landing and not in the stair run.
Do you know any way to accomplish that?

You could use two different railing types, and set the distance of the horizontal rail differently on the landing and stair portions.

This is the only way to do that currently, as railings are modified in the type parameters, thus making the entire railing behave the same way. Easy way to accomplish this is to copy and then edit your first railing to the length you need, then paste and edit the second railing to the length you need. From there select your second railing and create a new type and do the adjustments.

Create a secondary stair with the stringer where the bottom of your railing is then use it to host the railing. When done, hide that stair.
