I have a lot of views where sections that are completely irrelevant an far away from my plan are showing. We hide these manually, but they are annoying.
Do you know of a way to prevent these irrelevant sections from showing up in the first place? I don't understand why they even show up.
Thank you!
See if Annotation Crop is checked in your View.
Section , View Crop on Plan Views.
Hi..
Even if the view is cropped, and annotation crop is on...
you might see the section lines if the section ( range )
is inside the Crop view in plan..
1. one way is to drag and move it out.
2. use hide in Coarser than option for view ( applicable to Section, elevation etc)
3. You may use filter for particular view..
ex : Filter- Section name starting with " Building Section " Keep them ON.
ex : Filter - Section name starting with " Detail Section" Keep them OFF
4. If the other section is not place on any sheets ( Unreference View ) then while printing Sheets, just select
" Hide unreferenced view tags " in Options... Revit will Ignore all unreference views and print / create clean pdf only showing
elevation / section line which are place one any sheets..
