"Parts" creation error

Dear all,
I have exactly two slabs composed of the following layers: 20 cm RC and 2 cm plaster.
I want to create "parts" from these floors. One of them (small one) creates the parts but the other (big one) does not create parts. The "Create Parts" button is inactive and greyed out.

I have the following error message:
Revit does not allow creating parts from certain elements. Parts will not be created from these elements.

What could be the reason for this?
Thank you.

Just from that snapshot it is hard to tell. I only difference I see is that you have modified/cut the 4 corners of the slab...if they are both of the same floor type there should be no other reason the following

  1. you have modified the sub elements  of the floor element and in such case the Parts button would be grayed out (and this cannot be it because you can still click it)
  2. you modifying the element with cuts and inserts which Revit Parts do not like. So the only suggestion I can make in this case is to remove those cuts/inserts one by one and see if any of them is causing it

See this article too "Can't make parts out of these Elements [...]" in Revit
