"Divide" command in Revit?

Have a line that I want to divide to add ceiling light fixtures.

Is there a "Divide" command in Revit like in AutoCAD?, ...or equal parts command?,  ...or elect between two points?

Thanks in advance.

The shortcut for object snap between two points is S2.

If you have then five lights that you want to put on a previous line that you drew in a RCP, and you want the lights to be equally spaced apart, how do you do that?

Thanks in advance again.

You could build a divided path-based repeater family.

I'd use for this a Generic Model Adaptive Family and then in Project Equal function...as shown in my screencast:

"S2" by itself does not work in Revit 2021 from scratch like that.  I assume it is because it has to be added as a Keyboard Shortcut.   I do not see a command for that particular snap tracking listed in the Snaps (OS) dialog.  What is the full name of that command, that is, if it is listed under the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog so it can be shortcutted there with "S2"?

Bart, a "Divide and Repeat.rfa" is included as a family in any of the Revit out of the box family libraries? If so, in which folder it is located?

S2 command is in 2022 and 2023, not previous versions.

You can create the adaptive family yourself, it takes like 1 minute.
