quickly apply color to linked revit models

Hi,

I have a master file with many links and I need several 2D & 3D drawings where models are shaded with a different color. 

Does anyone know if there is a way to quickly apply colour in the master file to linked models via filters (or some other way) without having to open each model and add/change parameter(s) and reload all in master file?

A  quick solution could be by using Worksets:

• Create different Worksets for every Liked Projects
• then use Worksharing Display Settings and select desired colours

another more slow method could be a View dependent method by using Annotate >Regions for 2 D and Drafting Views edited into Sheet Views for 3d Perpective views
