Question about the Default Revit 2025 Imperial Multi-discipline.rte

As a Revit educator, I find the new template & sample file in 2025 much more useful than earlier versions. I can use them in my classwork. I have a question though, what are the two planes, north/south & east/west in the file there for? Instead of just deleting them, I thought I would ask.

I don't see any Ref. Planes in the Imperial Multi-discipline named "north/south" or  "east/west", but I wouldn't be averse to having Workplanes parallel to elevation views. Most all of our Templates do.

How are the north/south & east/west planes in your template files used?
