If anyone is familiar enought with the PYRevit add-in, I've used it since release 2019, has a great hatch pattern creater engine.   It's free.   Suddenly it does not functio for me.   Have updated it, etc.    If you can help, and watch this short video to tell me what I am doing wrong.     https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xMY9qJaFWEf2EQWnYCI13fdjC-HwZCiD/view?usp=drivesdk

Why not just create the pattern directly in your project using pyRevit? You don't have to export a .pat file. If you need the pattern in multiple projects then just copy it across, or use transfer project standards.

I would love to know from anyone how to get PyRevit working in Revit 2024.

I have the supposed latest version as at this date : ver 4.8.12.22247

It functions flawlessly in Revit 2022 but will not load in 24.

The people who made this deserve a dozen or 50 medals.

Any advice appreciated

Ver 4.8.12.22247 (Sep 2022) was their last official build but you can always download their latest build by going to the "Actions" tab of their github and selecting their most recent build (merge pull request) then downloading the installer (you will need a github account). I have had no issue in 2024 but you mileage may vary. Do keep in mind you would essentially be taking on "beta" software but I can't report a single crash in Revit due to pyRevit. I'm with you on praising pyRevit, my workflow is tightly dependent upon it at this point and it is the first thing I install on a new release! I hope this helps.

wow super cool - thank you for this heads up.

I will get an account !!!  and give it a crack - I have tracked a few posts about this issue and some people have said it works based on the version I have running in R22  but yeah,  just get the loading error page.

So hope this can work out and many thanks again.
