Pulling certain Parameters into a schedule.

Good day all. I have a project with multiple furniture families. Each family has s few parameters that get added to a schedule. There is just 1 parameter that just does not want to show up in the schedule.

I have attached images of what is on my screen. I have also tried to add it via project parameters but still nothing pulls through.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Are you saying you have one project parameter that is assigned to Furniture Category that shows up under the properties of each individual furniture component, but doesn't show up as an available parameter field in a Furniture Schedule?

Each family has a "Unit Identifier" with specific info related to that family. I need all that data from each family to be pulled into the schedule.

How did you create the parameter?

Is it a Shared Parameter?

Type? or Instance?

If "Unit Identifier" is a Project Parameter assigned to the Category you are creating a Schedule for, then "Unit Identifier" should be among the list of available parameters fields.  Is it not?

...if it is available and not showing, maybe it's Hidden via the Formatting tab.

I have tried to create it in Project Parameters but it does not pull any data into the schedule.

Is there data available?  A Project Parameter is just a field to put data into.  You need to input that data yourself.

Have a look at image 1. You will see 2 parameters. Unit description and Unit Identifier. The unit description pulls into the schedule but not the unit Identifier.

In each family, there is a piece of model Text. The "Unit Identifier" is linked to that text. (see image 4)

Each family's Unit Identifier is different.

How has the Unit Identifier parameter been associated to the Model text?

Okay, so you have a Multi-Line Text Project Parameter that is assigned to Furniture Category.  What is the problem?

I still don't get what the problem was. What did you do to "fix the problem"? Looks like you a pointing to the Global Parameter button in your screenshot.  What's that have to do with the Parameter Field/Data not showing up in Schedules?
