Proposition : Revit 2021.1 : Load Autodesk Family ==> possibility to load multiple family in a one time

Hi,

In Revit 2021.1, currently, "Load Autodesk Family" can load only one selection into your Revit because you can select only one family.

My proposition : the possibility to select multiple family in the one time.

Please vote for me 🙂

In comparrison with the old way on loading a family the ''load Autodesk family'' tool improves the process enormously..
Allowing a basic multiple family loader isn't going to add much benefits IMO.

It could be hulpfull however to have the possibility to create selection sets of families.
That way you can insert multiple families in 1 go, related to the type of project.

Hi nmarcelis,

That is what i propose : to create a selection of several families.

To select multiple families and add them by clicking one time on the button "Load".

Hi Vijay,

Could you read carefully my request ==> is about the NEW FEATURE introduced in Revit 2021.1 called "Load Autodesk Family"  not the old function "Load Famly" !

To obtain more info about this new feature please, read this articel : https://blogs.autodesk.com/revit/2020/08/04/new-technology-preview-now-available-load-autodesk-famil...

Note : i know the old function called "Load Family" ==> you can upload multiple family in one click, not the new feature.

Please vote.

Olivier

I think, that's a great idea, because when you loading family from cloud, you don't need to put it model view just right now. So, if you want to put any family in your model, you may open your families branch and choose you need. Vote!
