Properties window not displaying

I'm using Revit 2018 with the same interface I always have (Project Browser and Properties windows stacked on left side of screen). For some reason, when I opened Revit today the Properties window was blank. Occasionally, with moving or toggling the windows on/off, the window will be basically a duplicate of the Project Browser.

I've tried repair and reinstall of Revit, toggling windows on and off, restarting entire system, everything but a full uninstall (for sake of time). Does anybody have any direction on this?

It happens to me sometimes as well.  I suppose there's a rhyme and reason for it, I don't know what it is.  I usually self corrects by re-starting the software. But sometimes it takes a Repair to correct.

I've tried both, even a reinstall, but nothing has cured it yet. It couldn't be a hardware (graphics card) issue, as I've used it with no issues plenty of times before on this system. Has a repair always fixed this issue for you?

It's certainly possible. What would be the course of action if this were the case?

Fortunately, yes. I've never needed further troubleshooting beyond Repair.  If you can't Repair it, then I'd contact Autodesk.  Maybe @Viveka_CD can educate us both?

Had to completely uninstall and reinstall Revit, repair didn't do it. I wouldn't exactly consider this a "solution" so if anybody else has a suggestion for future reference, it would be appreciated.

We have the same issue in our drawing office on one of the Dell Workstations.

Not sure if this will fix your issue: RESET UI

Try resetting the UI instead of doing a repair.

@Anonymous

I might have the resolve you are looking for.

Using the UI reset tool provided by Autodesk, I ran the .bat file, re-opend the project and the Property Window displayed fine again.

As to doing a repair, it did not work. So check out this POST to see if you agree, the RESTUI is in this link. Or attached for easy access.
