Project parameter not updating in several categories

I am setting my project parameters and they work perfectly if I choose only one Category for the parameter. (For example Project Information). The problem occurs when I choose both Project information and Sheets, for example. Then the information does not show up or update in any of my tags. As soon as I remove the other category, it works again. Why can I choose many categories if it only works with one at a time?

Project Information is like a Type parameter. its Project wide.

Sheet is like an Instance Parameter. it is Sheet specific.

You typically wouldn't check both of them. What are you trying to do?

Are you using Project Information and Sheets as a hypothetical or an actual scenario?  A parameter should never be used for both of the two categories, only one or another.

I am trying to make a cover sheet that has all the information on it, for example date. I want all the same information from "Project information" and my titleblocks to show up on the cover sheet. So you could check all information is correct at just one glance.

Let's say you would like to add Project Architect info to all your sheets through Project Information.

You add the Project Architect shared parameter to your Project Information on your template. Then you do the same for the sheet -family you have in the template; and add it as an a label.

PS. Project Information is always instance parameter.
