Hi forum,
i've got 2 project parameters ( instance, Yes/No) attached to the category slab edges inside Floors, but ONLY ONE of them is showing in the properties dialog if a slab edge is selected.
Does any body has an idea why this strange behavior is happening? please see attached PDF for better understanding.
thanks in advance

HI MATE,
IN PROJECT PARAMETER UNCHECK FLOOR AND CHECK SLAB WITH OTHER CATAGORY.
SEE ATTACHED REVIT FILE (VERSION 2016)
Click to check multiple categories as shown in the previous post.
Hi @Sahay_R,
thanks for your answer. I do not really understand what you mean.
@Anonymous & @Sahay_R:
Do you mean to uncheck floors and check another category. After that reselect the desired categories. ??
This will not work since the parameters are also refering to the category "floors" where the data is already filled in. If i uncheck that category, all the data will be lost.
I really do not get this
thanks in advance
It's possible to assign the same parameter to different categories. For instance, I can assign the same parameter to Casework and Furniture, if needed.
thx @Anonymous, I thought i did that....
here more in detail
As shown in the PDF of my first post:
the parameter: "SA_WaterproofedConcrete" is assigned to:
floors and Slab edges
Roofs
Structural columns
Structural Foundations
Walls
the parameter "SA_ExposedConcrete" is assigned to:
Floors
Structural Columns
Structural FoundationsStructural Framing
Walls
For both parameters the settings ( Discipline, Type, Group under,...... ) are exactely the same
And yet only "SA_WaterproofedConcrete" is available in the instance properties of the selected slab Edge...
What am i missing?
Click on Edit Type to make sure that the parameters have not been assigned as Type Parameters. If that has been the case, then you can always edit the Project Parameters to change from Instance to Type and vice versa.
Can you share a file? Intrigued here!

Because the parameter "SA_ExposedConcrete" is not assigned to Slab Edges per what you list above?
He does have Slab Edges checked for both in his photo though. Maybe he hit Cancel instead of Apply after he took the screenshot?
I just replicated what the OP is talking about. And it works for me.

Floors AND SLAB EDGE (r u missing this?)

EXPAND CATEGORIES FLOORS AND UNCHECK AND CHECK SLAB EDGE for SA_ExposedConcrete then it will be shown in slab edge properties.
its works for me. (works on other categories to) if you dont expand floors then it will not visible in slab edge. hope u will find your answer.
thx @Anonymous,
this did the trick!
Here is a complete step by step how i solved it! ( this definately seems me like a bug though)
starting point: all parameters are already setup to the desired categories including slab Edge but are not showing in slab edge.
thanks to all for your help.
YES THATS THE TRICK.
