I’m gonna buy a new computer and wonder if programs such as Revit, AutoCAD Architecture and similar are compatible with smart pencils that you use on a computer with touch?

Does anyone one have any experience with this?

As a mouse yes. They won't support pressure sensitivity if the pens have that. That feature has to be built into the software using it, like Photoshop for example.

I have begun using a Huion tablet due to mouse arm agony. This works fine on earlier versions of Revit, but 2025 has lost the ability for the pen to affect the properties palette or view browser. Now again I am forced to switch between pen and mouse to change between views as well as other diverse functions in Revit. Is this something you are aware of?.

I can fell my mouse arm symptoms returning now that I work in a new project in version 2025 after working in 2021 and 2023 for several years

If you are using a standard mouse, try switching to a different form factor. I have a vertical mouse and a trackball that I switch back and forth. That and regular stretching has alleviated a lot of pain for me.

That's good but I use a tablet and pen. My question is if this will be supported in the future

No one can tell you that answer. If it never becomes supported, even if not, switching your interface devices could help with your pain now instead of waiting and hoping.
