Profile family loaded into Sweep - not working, no reason given.

Hello,

I'm trying to sweep a mould around a doorway.

I'm using a profile family and loading into the sweep.

Revit 'cant make the sweep'.

No reason is given.

Are there any common reasons why this might not work?

I've checked that the profile is a closed loop.

What else could it be?

I've attached the file

Thanks for any help!

Most likely, the Profile family has a problem. Like no closed loop or overlapping lines. To verify - try to make the sweep with a known good profile. If that works, you'll know where to look for the problem. If it doesn't work either, it could be the sweep has to make an 'impossible' corner where it would interfere with itself.

Thanks - I'll try that. I traced the profile so that might indeed be the issue

Open the profile, hover over a line and tab to select then you will see clearly where the issue is.  Black dots mean is is not a closed loop.

From there you can window select and see there are two lines at the same location.
