Problem with Displaying the cutting edge of a buildiung and the terrain volume

Hello! 
My project is a cliff architecture, which means that my buildiung sometimes lays on the terrain volume. I wann to know where ist exactly lays on the Terrain and where it is just a cantilever. I want to be able to see the cutting edge in the floor Plan.

Hello, have you tried to adjust View Range? 

(You can find it in the Properties window.)
