My cropped region is misaligned with my model view and I can’t find the model (the crop region has become very large). Is there any way to align the region back to the extends of the model?

in that view uncheck crop view and check crop region visible, with a crossing window select everything in your view to locate your model, then select the crop region and adjust it accordingly.

Usually what I do is edit the crop region. Delete the pink lines. Zoom in and then draw your new pink lines. As well turn off CAD link if it is in your 3d views.
