problem while saving

Hello guys, from the past 2 days my Revit 2020 start to don't save files anymore, from a new file and from an old one the answer is always the same, "failed to open document" and after this, he said "Impossible to save" and this happens for new file and old ones.

Can someone have some advice?

I already uninstall and installed Revit again( 2 times).

All the file are from the same version.

One strange thing that happens is that when I copy the elements of a project in a new file and I try to save it I do it, but if I try to export a render o a plan in DWG he doesn't do it.

Does it say "Viewer Mode" at the top of your screen?  Doesn't sound like your running a licensed version of Revit.

Hi @Andre.GG

Can you check the Available space on your C: Drive, go to Windows Folder Explorer, and This PC,

under the C: Drive is the Available space greater than 20Gb?  If not this may be the issue.

If you are working of a network drive, please confirm you have Read Write access to the folder you are saving to.  you will probably need to check with your IT Manager.

Thanks for the advice I check, the hard drive and I have 208GB, and no I don't work in the network only in local, I always saved in the desktop and yesterday I did a test, I try to run Revit like administrator and nothing change, but I have saved a new file in the local disk directly, I try with a file that I already did and this makes crush Revit.

So I don't have any idea of what is happening.

This is not normal behavior. Either reinstall the program or contact Autodesk support.

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

My problem is that I have already uninstalled and installed it 2 times.

I try to use my projects in another computer and they work normally so I really don't understand what is going on.

Did you do a full uninstall using instructions provided by Autodesk before reinstalling?

Open up a Support Case through your Autodesk Account.
