Problem in slab/wall connection in balcony

Hello everyone, I'm not a very experienced user and I'm currently having problem with this:Problem.jpgAs you can see in the left image, i have a floor tile which i want to extend (to the red square) on top of the wall but i cant do that as the complete slab/floor would overlap the wall and start glitching. I have tried using the connect geometry tool but no success so far. In the current situation i can see the line and material of the wall in the 3D view.

I know there can be workarounds, maybe creating a new floor just for the tile but i want to do this the correct way.

I will listen to all of you, Thanks,

There are several ways to approach. Why not just create that small portion with another floor type and then Join Geometry (in the correct Join order) to remove the linework of the overlapping geometry?
