Pro Practice - making a revit family based on details provided by manufacturer

When developing details for some conditions in my projects, an example being overhead track windows, I have been able to get details from manufacturers and make Revit families from them.  As an informal compensation to the company that gave me that information, is there any obligation or courtesy or reason for/against sharing that new Revit family with them?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Thanks!

It seems to me that you specifying and then using their windows on a real world project would be compensation enough.  That's why they gave you the info to begin with.  I think that it would be a nice gesture to the folks that they will in turn give your rfa to in the future, though.
