Vector or Raster is for Hidden Line. If you have depth cueing, shadows, shaded views, etc. Revit will default to Raster

as these effects are "pixel" generated vs "vector" (lines).

Try using Presentation Quality setting.

  • Looks like you are using the Microsoft PDF Printer driver.
  • What version of Revit are you using?

(Revit 2022 will now print to PDF internally without use of 3rd party PDF print drivers.)

  • Did you try Raster instead of Vector?
  • When you say you are not getting good results, can you provide more detail and attach an image which shows exactly what is not printing how you need it to?
  • Try using Bluebeam or another professional graphics grade print driver.

A quick Google search found this:

https://www.bing.com/search?q=free+PDF+print+drivers+for+Windows+10&form=EDGSPH&refig=68b3c6261a774f...

Also please note that a recent Windows Update has caused printing PDF problems.

The solution is to roll back to a previous Windows Update.

Accepted solution

Do you have one view set to shade, consistent or realistic? I notice if one view has it, it will turn the rest of the view to raster print.
