Printing from Revit 2023 on a Macbook Pro (M1 chip) Running Windows 11 on Parallels

I just bought a new MacBook Pro with an M1 chip and I'm having some challenges printing in Revit 2023.

On my old MacBook Pro, I ran Windows 10 on VMWare Fusion.  No longer possible with the M1 chip.

So, I switched to Parallels, and also had to switch to Windows 11.  Then I installed Revit 2023.  So far, so good.  

I used to use Primo PDF to print, but it appears Primo PDF isn't ready for Windows 11... 

Any suggestions on a free PDF printer that works with Windows 11?  

Also, in the print dialog, how do I create larger sheets (Tabloid, 11" x 17", 24" x 36")?

Export to PDF directly from Revit File menu.

Thanks, Toan!  Wow.  I had no idea that was there.  I’ve been printing the old way for so long, I didn’t realize that a PDF printer was built in!

Hey James, 

Just curious how revit 2023 runs on your apple silicone, and how much RAM you recommend?

I have had no problems running Revit on my new MacBook Pro.  I have 32 G of RAM, and it has been sufficient, with no noticeable lags.

Same here. Revit LT in Parallels is very quick with 32 GB (which means 16 GB is available for Parallels), but I believe the faster processor matters too.

But, back on topic...

I think Bullzip is a really good PDF printer. It can add the current date to the PDF file name if you want - something Revit just won't do. But they haven't updated Bullzip to work on Mac M1 or M2 devices, so I use the built-in PDF printer now. Works fine.
