Prevent CAD links from showing up in "reveal hidden elements" (lightbulb)?

That's basically it.  The presence of CAD links in the lightbulb view make it almost useless.  This even occurs when the link is not at the level you're looking at.  Check out the clip below--it's a 2nd floor plan, and the landscape CAD is inserted at the ground floor, but it still shows up (and can be selected) in the lightbulb view.  Is this normal behavior?  Is there a way to defeat it?

Out it in a workset and Hide the workset for the views you don;t want to see them. Turn on the light bulb won't reveal elements in hidden worksets.

do you need the linked cad in other view? If not, unload it maybe?

Maybe you can also filter hide it, I’m not 100% sure.

The CAD links are already in worksets, but they need to be enabled in these upper floor plan views.  I suppose temporarily unloading and reloading is the only option.  It always makes me nervous to do that since so much time is locked up in the layer settings.  Thanks.

- The light bulb will reveal elements hidden by: Override Graphics in View by Element or by Category

- The light bulb will NOT reveal elements hidden by: Override Graphics in View by Filter, by Phase Filter, by Workset (Hide or Close), by Link (Unload), by Discipline

Pick what works for you.

OK, that's good to know, thanks.  But I want to go back to my original question:  why does it "reveal" items (CAD links) that shouldn't be visible at that level at all?  This seems like a bug that should be fixed.  This even affects our roof plans!  Just want to confirm that others are seeing this behavior.

Your view range is too deep, maybe. Or a vast of other reasons. If you want to know exactly what causes it then share the Revit and cad files.
