Plan region not working

I have some low windows on a certain level in my project. I changed the cut plan in the view range of that plan to 100mm. Meanwhile, I need to show the stairs to be the same as other levels. So I draw a plan region at the stairs and changed the cut plan to 1200mm. However it's not changing anything. It's showing the same as without the plan region. Any suggestions?

I noticed it's because the plan region didn't cover the whole stair which lead to my problem. No neeed for other solutions, thx.

It happened with me, and it also needs plan region to be drawn as unrotated rectangle.
