I'd light to add some downlights in my kitchen, not on the ceiling but in my furniture. When I import a lighting fixture from Bimobjects they only allow me to insert it in the ceiling.
There's a method to change a Ceiling hosted to a Face hosted as well. It's a pretty nifty trick to learn and have in your skillset. There's a bunch of video tutorials about it on the web. Here's one. There are many others as well. Have fun!
