Phasing - Windows not showing correctly

Hi Revit-ers,

My situation is, I have an existing wall which has 2 windows in it. I was to remove the windows in the demo phase and install new windows in the new construction phase.

When I do this the plan view (new contruction) has red dashed lines where the windows should be, doesn't show any glass in the windows but shows the sash and architraves. In the elevation (new construction) my view shows the window opening cutout and the lines of how the window operates however no part of the frame is visible unless I hover over it.

you have to edit your window family > floor plans> ref. level > add symbolic lines > frame , glass etc... and load again. thanks

Do the windows show correctly in the Existing Phase, in plan View?

Do you have a Phase called "Demolition"? If so, that could be the problem. Try setting the "Phase Demolished" of the windows to New Construction. (I could not tell what Phases you have from the images provided.)

Existing Phase--elements that are existing to remain only.

New Construction Phase--includes new elements, and elements to be demolished.

your View Phase is set to New Construction, what is the View Filter for that view set to? looks like it may be set to "Show Previous and Demo".

I have changed the phase to show "complete", this will be acceptable for the plans and the people constructing the house.
