Phasing view - 2 parameters?

I added a Future phase to the project and proceeded to set a phase of a wall to Future. i need to show the wall as dashed in plans.

Now my view has the following properties:

Why is the Phase Filter controlled through VT but not the "Phase?"

How do I modify the phase filters so that my "Future" phase displays correctly?

I'm confused about where the "Future" phase appears in this dialog box for edits.

Revit is amazing

A future phase? You can't get there through Phase Filters.  You could set up a View Template and Filters to get there though. Basically, View Phase Filter wouldn't be used. It would be set to "none".

Your Future is a Phase name, not a Phase Filter, so it is not shown under Phase Filters tab.

Phase Filters tab show different Graphic Overrides combinations, each Override is defined under Graphic Overrides tab.

The bottom line is that if you want to show Future phase with a different graphic, you need to use View Filters, not Phase Filters.

You could make a view filter that is similar to the overrides I use on existing Items. And adjust the filter rules to contains and future. You can make a view template that has your filters set up so you don't have to change the line style etc each time you use the filter.
