Phasing problem

Hi,

Im working on an existing building, where the existing brickwork will have a new external render finish applied. Some existing openings will be blocked up and some new ones formed. How can i apply the render to the brickwork so that it appears in the new construction only and not existing elevations.

Phasing Graphic Overrides? Does that work for you?

@ToanDN: You always go the extra mile! I guess that's why you're the forum's Crown Prince of Solutions. Well deserved too.

Cheers!

I probably explained it wrong.

The existing wall is a brick faced wall, but our proposal would be to apply a render finish to the brickwork. Would you have to create another wall (render face wall) for the new construction phase? if so, how do the openings (which are in the existing wall) attach themselves to the new render wall?

I would have my existing brick faced wall set to existing, create a new wall with just plaster/gwb drawn to the finished face set to new construction,

Use the join tool to join the two walls and doors/windows will cut both walls and phasing will work.
