Perspective mode simply doesn't work - help appreciated (look at the video)

Hello,

When I click on perspective mode, all hell breaks lose and the angle is extremely wide. Furthermore, the middle mouse button stops working and I can't orbit around my model. To orbit I have to manually grab the navigation bar and click on "orbit" button. I'm sure that this is not how Autodesk intended perspective mode to be used.

Why can't Autodesk implement a simple persepctive mode like Navisworks or even other software like Sketchup ?

That Architectural template is an RTE file. If you click on browse button in that window it will show you a list of RTe files.

It seems default french template DefaultFRAFRA.rte has corrupted 3D View.

Is there a way to contact Autodesk FRANCE ? Since the French .rte template is broken, they didn't do their job, didn't even bother to check if it was working or not.

I noticed the same problem, I use the French template: DefaultFRAFRA.rte (version 2019.1).
I solved this problem by removing the 3D view (by default) and recreating it.

I Think I found the problem since I had a similar crazy perspective view… 
In my case, there was a linked dwg from the municipal with height curves roads etc which was super big. 
This made ther perspective go bananas… So I tried unload that specific dwg. 
Then i chose two random walls in a plan and opened in 3d with a sectionbox.. 
Then I unmarked the sectionbox and the perspective looked as it should after that.
