PDF Import crashes Revit

When I import PDF file, revit crashes without notification. When I try import image file of any description the spinning wheel appears and stays like that

try to import pdf in autocad drawing and link into revit and see if helps. thanks

Hi that does work, however it is another step in my documentation that I
would like to avoid.

Previously import pdf file worked great and I was able to snap to ends etc.
but for some reason it no longer works.

I have found that the problem exists within my user logon for windows. I have another logon on same computer and import pdf into revit works fine. There are issues with email and access to network drives but they can be fixed.
