PDF export using sheet number parameter

In previous versions of Revit I could set up our file name convention of project name_sheet number_sheet name(Revision)(sheet size). In the current 2025.2 the sheet number parameter doesn't work for pdf export. The sheet number parameter works everywhere else, ie drawing list, tags and browser organizer.

Am I missing something?

Hi I have just repeated as a test and cannot replicate it unfortunately - is the sheet Number Reference in your sheets the generic OOTB Labe/Parameter?

Also are you using the Sheet Number from the View?

As you can see here it pulls the Sheet Number from the Sheet but not the one from the View

Hi. Yes Im using the OOTB parameter/label in the sheet. I have also deleted the old and replaced again. This very same sheet and project file worked perfectly fine in Revit 2024.

I have also tried this in other projects on Revit 2025 with the same result. All of which worked in 2024.

Using the sheet number as filter in other areas such as organizing and sheet list, works perfectly fine as well

I see my mistake. I was using the 'Sheet Number' from the 'View' drop down and not the ' Sheet' drop down

I think this is a User Defined Shared Parameter

Thanks do you think it is shared parameter set up as part of the original titlesheet? Its valuable information in the pdf title for printing
