Particular condition where Revit won't create backup files

Has anyone experienced the condition where files that have been detached that have "_detached" still in the filename (for example "drawingX_detached") will not make backup files??? I've taken the detached off and it seems to make backup files again. weird.

Kindly note, this behavior is expected. When a drawing is opened using Detach, AutoCAD treats it as a temporary working file and disables automatic backup (.bak) creation. The “_detached” suffix indicates that state. This is same with Revit - Revit does not create backup files for detached models. If the "_detached" remains in the filename, backup files will not be generated. Removing "_detached" from the filename allows Revit to create backup files again.

Once the file is saved normally (removing the “_detached” from the filename), it is treated as a standard drawing again, and backup file generation resumes as expected.
