Hi guys and girls!

Here is my question:

I've a parking lot that needs to be inside my terrain, and it musn't not appear on surface. How can I excavate this mass (yellow rectangle) maintaining the soil above it (red hatch)?

I've tried using shaft tool but, instead the changes i've made on levels, it doesn't work...

pls, see the picture attached for more details and thanks in advance!

  1. Draw a floor and use the excavate tool (Revit 2025):

2. Draw a void extrusion and use cut to excavate the terrain (Revit 2024)

3. Use Slab tool to excavate (Revit 2023 or older)

Model how it's built.

Are you going to make a tunnel without moving the ground on top of the parking lot? Use a void.

Are you going to excavate the ground, build the parking lot, and then fill it with earth? Use the excavate tool, and then add a new, different toposolid so you can measure it.
