Parameter "Date"

Hye,

is it possible to create a shared parameter "date" ?

I don't find this possibility in Revit 2018, but does exist a plugin ?

I'd like to keep the "installation date" of different elements.

Thanks in advance.

Yes. Create a shared parameter, text, called "Date". In the project, add a Project Parameter, instance, that applies to multiple categories.

As a point of clarification, Revit does not have a Date data type to store information. That's why the parameter type suggested was Text.

Which is kind of sad, and now I have to go look at the Ideas page to see if it has been suggested.

In addition to what was suggested, use YYYY-MM-DD format when you enter the date so that you can sort them properly.

It seems pretty hard to understand the reason why in 2018 there is still no possibility to add a Date type parameter.
