Screencast isn't working, so I'll try my best and use screenshots.
I put a view into a sheet, but the scale for the viewport isn't showing up. The box displays, but the scale isn't showing up in it.
The scale is set to 1/8" = 1'-0"
When I go to the Family Editor for the Viewport and check the Label it looks like everything is correct.
Not sure why it's doing this. Can anyone help?
Also, does anyone know the name of the exe for Screencast so I can try and kill it in the Processes tab of the Task Manager?

-Select the Viewport, the go to Properties. See what View Title, and other items are shown/selected.
-Also, try changing the View Port Type to something else and see if the scale appears.
-If so, then it's something with your View Title/Viewport Type named "VIC"
I've tried changing the viewport type in the type selector to every one of them, including the default Revit one called Viewport1 and it's still the same.
From the Browser, go to Families>Annotations and select/right click> edit the View Title.
Select the Scale Label--check under Properties if Visible is checked.
Everything looks good.
Hmm........something is not right with your Viewport/View Title setup.
-Try starting a new Project, create a quick Floor Plan, place on a sheet. Any luck?
Check which Template file is selected when creating the new project--it could be something in the template which is causing the problem. Perhaps try <None> under Template file, and then test Architectural template when starting a new project.
-Another thing you could try is to open a "good" project that has the scale in the View Title, and copy/paste and/or Transfer Project Standards into your current project.
Is it because it's a 3D view on a sheet? Even though the 3D view is locked?
Your question and screenshots did not appear to be a 3D View?
But, yes- a 3D view on a sheet will not display a scale.
If I make a View Scale on the Title Block is there a way to make that grab the scale size of the Viewport of a 3D view on a sheet?
I am also having the same issue. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.
Are you using a 2D or 3D view? I found out that they don't display on 3D views
View scales cannot be shown in 3D views placed on sheets. To work around this, create a new shared parameter. It can just be a text parameter. Create a new view title type and change the label for the scale to the shared parameter.
