Parameter of selection by grid lines or one way to divide a project

Morning,

I am looking for the way to divide a project using the gridlines. My idea is found a way to select the geometry between two gridlines, but i don´t know if it is possible or if it is the best way to do it. I have thinking in a parameter in the families but i don´t found the way to fill it . I have tried to use Dynamo with a extrusión of the gridlines but the problem is the same, how to relate the geometry with the gridlines.

Regards.

Hi @FRAN1972

I´m sorry but I didn´t get what exactly want (my bad). I think you could use scope box to see specific regions on your project and select everything is inside scope box.

When you say "divide a project", are you meaning that you want to physically break the model apart? If so, for what purpose? Perhaps, if you can explain the purpose, we can offer workflows to accomplish task.

It's really not though, just difficult to follow...

Perhaps it would be best if OP would post the question both in own language and with translation below. But also add some pictures explaining what it is they're looking to do...

...maybe selection filter?

Thanks a lot! I think that the way of scope box is right but think in a project that you need 100 scope boxes ie., and it is not a straight floor plan if not curve floor plan. Do you think that existe a way to make it automatically from Revit or Dynamo?

Thanks a lot. The purpose is to get a model that we can move or work in a fluid way because now is impossible to work with it.

Thanks so much. Apologies for my poor english... I couldn´t show images of the project by customer requirements, i am going to try to draw something similar.
