Parameter in Wall Niche Family

I have created a wall niche family, the height is a parameter, however it doesn't show after being loaded into project. I assume it might caused by the dimension of 4'-6", but it stays the same even after I delete this dimension. I have attached the family here.

Accepted solution

What do you mean with 'does not show'? Because is a type parameter it showns at Type properties windows (Properties palette / Edit type button). If you want to keep it visible directly in Properties palette, then you have to change it to instance parameter, it also means that 'height' value will be different for each niche you place in model.

I meant why "height" doesn't show under "dimensions"

Change it from Type parameter to Instance parameter.
