If you are talking about anamorphic projections (See wikipedia Anamorphosis), I have done this in the past but in workflow including 3DS Max and Sketchup. As this was before FormIt, the workflow could be adapted to work with Revit materials and allow you to illustrate the anamorphosis within Revit Realistic views.
If this is what you are trying to do, here's the basic outline:
- In 3DS Max:
- create a custom light with the un-projected image and orient it towards the surfaces involved just as you would a physical projector in a space;
- bake the materials on the objects receiving the image;
- export to Formit;
- In Formit:
- adjust the material names;
- adjust the position of the material maps if required;
- export to Revit;
- In Revit, there shouldn't be much to do.
