I'd like to offset a custom mullion (jamb). The image shows the mullion in blue, and the are I'd like to offset it (yellow). Is this possible? I've tried moving the profile, but that doesn't seem to do anything

making the cw longer doesn't solve the issue; it makes more problems for me. this is obviously a detail item, and wouldn't really a single form. i am simply wondering the best way to get revit to look right. i can, of course, make a custom component, etc. but having custom jamb profile seemed most straight forward. i have different need/profile for head, sill, and jamb.

so when i tried that, it didn't clean up nicely like yours is showing. is there something that i'm missing? it screws up the joins at the walls behind it

Don't cut the wall with the curtain wall.  Create a separate opening cut so that you can control the size.
