objects of linked CAD not showing up

Good morning. I am linking a CAD file into my Revit and some objects are not showing up. I changed the layer of objects from furniture to layer 0 and they still won't show up.

any suggestions please?

Are the Layers turned on under VGOs?  Is the View Range correct? Is it happening in all Views?  How about 3D?  

You can post the CAD file if you want us to test.

good morning @barthbradley thank you but I have already discovered that the layers were hiding behind a REVIT link
