Revit 2017 Part tag

Is there a Part tag made for Revit 2017? I can crate parts in 2017 but am unable to tag them.

Yes. Load the Part Tag family under Annotations library, or create a new Tag family and change the category to part Tag.

I already looked for a tag. There is no part tag anywhere for 2017 in any of my directories. I had tried to change a tag to part tag but it was not an option.

I just tried using the generic tag and was able to change that one to a part tag. I just needed to start with the correct tag I guess.

You can start from any annotation family (generic annotation, wall tag, door tag, etc) and change its category to Part Tag when you edit the family.

I tried starting with a few different tags and the part tag category was not an option for me. Something was missing from this install I think. I had an issue with a windows update crashing and windows had to repair itself. I have had to repair all my Autodesk installs because of missing materials and other things.
