NWC linked file is not included when exporting Revit floorplan to DWG

The problem is like in title:

While I am exporting floorplan from Revit to AutoCAD, the DWG drawing does not contain Naviswork linked part. Is there any setup which allows me to create such a complex export?

You've probably moved on or got an answer elsewhere but I don't believe a Coordination Model will export to DWG from Revit. They intended us to use a coordination model to review against the Revit model itself, not to combine models and then export.

Maybe that was the intention, but is there ary workaround for my particular situation where I use NWC file like an underlay and need to export whole model as a 2D drawing?

Why NWC? Where does this NWC come from? Maybe the source software can produce a file format that Revit can use and include during export like DWG?

Export the floor plan separately, and append RVT and your floor plan in Navisworks.

Can AutoCAD even handle NWC?

Sure, NWC or NWD as attachment Xref.

I see. If that is the case then I think it is an overlook in Revit development.

Making coordination models export to DWG is/was well outside of the development scope and intent when it was introduced. It was added to Revit because users want to be able to do more 3D coordination within Revit directly, as opposed to moving back and forth between Revit and Navisworks. It's exposure and effectiveness is pretty limited inside Revit as it is.

Is this still the case for Revit version 2024?  It shows the nwc in the file preview but when you open the dwg it is not there.
