Reference drafting views from a master model

There are a lot of typical details that can be shared between projects. We are wondering if there is a way to keep all of the typical details in one model and it can be referenced from other models, so we don’t have to duplicate all of them into different models and if there is a change, we only need to do it in one location.

I came across this software called ViewAQC in Autodesk forum, and it does what we are looking for, but we currently don't have this in the company. Does anyone have other solutions?

What about Load as Group or Insert from File?

If I need to change one detail, I will need to make sure I load it back to all of the models have it.

Draw details in a master file as floor plan detail views, not drafting views. Link it in your project and use by linked view.

I see. Similar to floor plan, do you also use live section/ elevations for those callouts?

No. Use Reference other view for callouts.

@Anonymous Glad you like it.  As I say often in the presentation. It does take alot of set up, but once it is done the process is amazing.
