Hi, I’m fairly new to Revit and currently getting myself up to speed with the package. I was wondering if it’s possible within the software or potentially using an addon, to label or incrementally number the elements within the build, that could be exported as part work schedule.

For example, numbering or labelling out the order to lay tiles onto the floor within a particular area.

Some elements have an innate sequential numbering property (Mark). Whenever you place one, it will take the next number in the current active sequence

Other elements don't. For that you can

  • OR you can use Dynamo (a visual programming application) which allows you to sequentially number components and/or sub-components/parts
