Hi Maria

It's like the graininess you get when you take a photo of a dark room with an exposure that is too short.

The problem is that not enough light has been simulated to create an accurate rendering.

Try to add a lamp studio in the middle of the scene to add wide spread light.

Hope that helps

Hi @Anonymous

Can you specify the your render settings and the version of Revit you are using?

Try using Best quality with higher DPI (over 300) will gives the acceptable result. If you want your image to be smoother, Best quality might be suitable. However, as Ray Trace is still for rapid rendering, it is expected that the shorter the rendering time is the lesser quality.

The noise of rendering will be reduced when render levels are increased. That's due to the process how the physical realistic rendering engine works.

Make sure that Revit can complete enough render levels, which will reduce noise.

How many day have we to wait for clear render or year. It is incapable of mental ray. I used alot of 3d program and render engine. Max, blender, vray corona vs. No of them takes time like revit and more clear.

Hi Serkankose,

I see that you have arrived at a post buried from 4 years ago?

Revit is primarly used as a BIM collaboration tool.

If you have an specific issue, this user powered community can definately help you.

May I also suggest taking a look at other render engines that work well alongside Revit?

Have you heard of Enscape for instance? Maybe that could be of help for your requirements?

Cheers, K

Yes I have heard enscape, twinmotion, lumion etc. But it's basic issue.
Autodesk can also solve it with some settings about subdivision
sharpness raytrace like old versions. If I want to use 3rd party
software there is a plugin that makes sketch up BIM. Have you heard it?

@serkankoseVG668

This appears to be a non-issue and something along the lines of a wish-list.

Perhaps you could take a look here and see if anything matches your wish and garner votes for it so that the dev team can look into it based on user intrest.

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?filter=location&q=render&location=idea-...

Or post a new one.

May I also suggest you find time to chat up directly with the dev team?

Check out when the next session is going to be and ask them directly:

https://blogs.autodesk.com/revit/2020/10/14/inside-the-factory-sessions/

There is an email address where you can voice your wish.

Hope that helps.

Cheers, K
