When I try to render an exterior view with sun only It is getting all black. I can just barely see the image in the background (image at the back), but it is way too dark. I have moved the sun.

I am just clicking rendering in a 3d view, do I have to do anything else? Thanks.

…. hi @Anonymous

… based on what you are describing (and the picture)

… my guess is that it is something to do with adjusting the exposure

…. try this:

… in the rendering setup

….click adjust exposure

…. and tweak exposure value

… or maybe you are inside of a wall or family or a tree or a bush?

… for this you will need to move your camera couple of inches to the side / front

…. or …  if neither of the above are working for you

… can you upload your .rvt to take a look?

I didn’t know that.

It was the exposure value and the shadows.

Nothing is in the front because the picture is taken from a very high point.

Very good.
