Nested links models inside options will always show regardless of VG ...

Hello,

I have nested RVT models placed on different options in a TEST model.

Once I link this model into another (TEST host), the options Graphic overrides settings work only for live elements, not the links, which instead are always showing.

This prevent us from using links as "blocks" in different options, if the model is then also nested into host model.

Any idea is this is being looked at, or if there are workarounds?

thank you

Look at using Groups which can also be based on external models using Load as Group. Groups are the tool intended for managing repetition of design elements that contain more than a single category of elements.

@gsucci

They are  2 levels deep. Filters will not work. Research the topic double nested links in Revit. Not sure why you need the Test.RVT in between the Host.RVT and the 00110.rvt, if the options are in 00110.rvt nest that into the host

If it is a block similar behavior what you are after, then the more efficient way is the approach Steve described
