Nested Families with weird symbol Lines

Hi all, I'm currently facing a problem regarding a ceiling mounted exit sign, when used in project and printed, the solid color looks pixelated. 

Is there a way to fix this?

Maybe View Discipline-related.

Change the View's Discipline.  If that doesn't do it, then post the file here.

The family file looks fine itself and when it's loaded into the sheet. However, once it's printed as pdf, the lines appear as the screenshot above.

Please see Sheet T-003 in the CD-for forum question.rvt file. 

The family file is Exit Sign - Ceiling Mounted.rfa

Try exporting to pdf instead of printing.

Is the solid black in the family made using a filled region?

FWIW, I downloaded your files and tried to replicate the issue. All the attempts to generate a PDF worked as expected, no strange graphics. It seems to be something unique to your computer/configuration?

It is a solid black fill.

How do I export to pdf? I don't see the option here
