NEED HELP: PROBLEM WITH GENERIC PATTERN BASED

Hi,

 

I am having a serious problem with the generic pattern based model. I made a generic pattern model but when I put it into a face of a massing, the pattern turn and twist itself. See picture attached. (Sorry for the low quality picture. My screenshot does noT seem to work) Please Help me out!! I am really stucked on this.

Before loading the pattern-based family into another family, change the size of the grid. The form should stay put on the grid. If not (which seems to be the problem), dissolve the form and do it again, making sure that you use elements that are in fact related to the adaptive points and reference line of the grid.

Hi

 

I would suggest you watch few tutorials for pattern based curtain panel...

 

Four points which are flexible, and gets attached to grids..

other four points needs to be locked to the position ..

also the 3d extrusion needs to be locked / aligned with the plane..

and for thickness you may give the instance parameter..
