Need help adding mullion to window

I am supposed to add a mullion to a window to match the mullion on the door, and I can't get it to work. I have click on mullion and tried grid line, grid line segment, and all grid lines, but they don't work because there isn't a grid line. I'm just trying to add one if that makes sense. If it matters, it is an aluminum storefront window. I attached a picture in case that helps. Any help on this would be fantastic.

Doesn't sound like it is a Curtain Wall.  Is the Window's name listed in your Project Browser under the Windows Category? I suspect it is.  If so, you need to edit to add the Muntin in the Family.
